Tiger ends Friday with 4-under

Tiger Woods fired a 4-under-par 68 Friday to climb back into contention in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club and Lodge. He carded five birdies and only one bogey to vault from a tie for 31st to a tie for sixth. Woods has a 36-hole score of 3-under 141, five strokes behind clubhouse leader Spencer Levin.

"I played pretty clean today," Woods said, a six-time winner of the tournament. "I hit the ball probably as well as I did coming in yesterday all day today. And I left probably five putts short that were dead center. So this could have been a pretty special round." .... (tigerwoods.com)

Well its been a long time; since the last post.  Been busy. Looking for a new job, found new job, found a better job, and I returned to college to work on my Masters degree.  Tiger has been busy. He appeared on Jimmy Fallon with Amy Poehler.

Tiger second round @ Torrey Pines

Tiger struggled after the turn before righting himself down the stretch for another 69 at Torrey Pines.  Tiger scored 6 birdies and three bogeys today... hoping that it only gets better.

What tournaments should Tiger play in 2011

Tiger will aparently begin the 2011 season not in the US but in Dubai at the Dubai Desert Classic during Feb 10-13. Why? Good question, maybe it has something to do with the golf course he is building there or they are going to pay him an extra check, who knows.  I feel Tiger should start off in Hawaii.

He is not the young gun he once was he needs to get in a groove because if he takes too long off he loses his go get'em attitude.  He should also play in California and give his home state some attention. As my grandma always said: "Don't forget where you come from".  It would be nice if he came back to Texas but I doubt that.... ugh. But if he made a trip to New Orleans a place he has never played it would give the people, tournament, and city a lot of attention due to what happen 5 years ago and them coming back from that to win the Super Bowl.

I think he should play 16 or 17  tournaments but I doubt that would happen.  If you don't play enough you can't achieve your goal.  Tiger is 2 wins away from tying Jack with PGA Tour Wins and we already know about the majors (18).  But what would be an even better  is to catch Sam Sneed (at 82 wins) a feat Jack did not accomplish.  Tiger can do this but he has to want to put is mind around it.

He can't be Tiger of yester year he has to look at the glass half full and  is what is acheivable, being the No. 1 PGA Tour top winner of all times.  He may become No. 1 in the world again but it won't be anytime soon, (sorry).  All this Sean Foley crap changing swings is for the birds. This guy stated on Golf Channel, "I'm trying to build my brand".  Excuse me you are here to rebuild Tiger's brand.  He is just another Hank Haney; when the going gets tough he is gone.

Since Tiger is getting older (35 on Dec. 30)  he may just need glasses to read the short putting greens.  Now would that not be something, just a pair of glasses and the problem is over.  Well I doubt if that is the whole problem, Tiger has to be willing to want to try new things; anything to get help him reach  his goal.

Yes he is shy and not open to giving information but just a little reply to some of the tweets would be okay sometime.
