After a great start to the HSBC, our Tiger lost a little bit of his roar on Friday by hitting 5 bogeys/5 birdies compared to Thursday's 5 Birdies/1 bogey. Tiger is now tied for 9th place at 9 under posting a 72 compared to yesterday's 68 but he still has a chance for a good finish.
Francesco Molinari of Italy is still the leader with 9 under.
Woods -- who has won a record 16 WGC titles but has yet to capture the HSBC Champions -- seemed ready to challenge Molinari midway through the round
